- I am an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. I'm even known to just explore places without even hunting or fishing opportunities (ghost towns, interesting geological features, etc). Children and marriage take up quite a bit of my time, but I still managed to make it afield often enough to keep myself in the game. While not really a political wonk, I do keep abreast of politics and law, which will play some role on this blog as thing progress. Hopefully visitors will find this blog useful in terms of thoughts and opinions about all types of outdoor pursuits. I really hope gear and equipment reviews will be of use to fellow enthusiasts, whether old hands or neophytes.
